- To protect, preserve and propagate forest, wildlife and environment.
- To generate awareness among the general people, particularly the young generation to protect, preserve and propagate forest, wildlife and environment.
- To help develop Tourism in Assam, particularly around the National Parks, sanctuaries and reserve forests in NE India
- To promote and help protection of the rare and endangered species of plants and wildlife and dwindling wetlands etc.
- To organize scientific research, study circle, workshop, symposium, seminar, field visit and various types of awareness programme to protect, preserve and promote development of natural resources.
- To publish periodical Journal, News Bulletin, poster, pamphlet, book etc on related subjects.
- To help carrying on the activities and co-operate with like minded NGOs and Government department like Forest, Environment and Tourism.
- To organize film-show and display hoardings on the related subjects.
- To remunerate and award any person rendering valuable service in implementing the aims and objects of the society and remarkable contribution in the field of conservation of natural resources.
- To collect funds and receive donations, grants-in-aid, subscriptions, endowments and gifts in cash and kind, land, building and any other property and their proper utilization.
